MEET SARAH
Co-Founder

A registered primary teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree. Sarah has 11 years of teaching experience in primary schools, particularly in the junior year levels in both Government and Independent schools. She is highly trained and skilled in various literacy approaches including THRASS and SMART Spelling and has implemented them with great success in the classroom.

Sarah’s philosophy of education is the belief that all children are unique and bring something special to their learning. Her calm and gentle nature creates a happy and caring classroom.

She advocates that children need a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, emotionally and socially. She believes that play-based settings spark children’s interest and natural curiosity to make learning fun and meaningful. Her hands-on approach ensures that children are engaged, stimulated and feel empowered in their own learning journey. Celebrating children’s individual success is a fundamental aspect of Sarah’s approach.

MEET FATEMA
Co-Founder

A qualified Education Support Teacher with an Early Childhood Education Diploma. Fatema has over 10 years of working experience with children in both preschool and primary school settings. The last 7 years saw Fatema work closely in Prep/Foundation year level. She is highly trained and skilled in various literacy approaches including THRASS and SMART Spelling and has implemented them with great success in the classroom.

Fatema’s philosophy of education is the belief that a learning environment should be caring, safe and nurturing where children are encouraged to blossom and grow. Her cheerful nature brings warmth and positivity to the classroom. She has an impeccable understanding of the different stages in children’s development.

It is for this reason she advocates the importance of building trust and encourages children to be risk-takers in their learning. Fatema believes in a language rich environment where children are given opportunities to interact, communicate and share feelings and ideas. She is passionate about reading stories to children as it is one way of encouraging discussion and learning of new vocabulary. Understanding that learning is life-long process and that it “takes a village to raise a child” is a fundamental aspect of Fatema’s approach.

Primary school teacher - Masters of Education

A qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree, specialising in Early Childhood. Lina has 10 years of working experience with primary aged children. She is highly trained and skilled in various literacy approaches including THRASS and SMART Spelling.

Lina’s philosophy of education is to be a teacher who instils a love of learning in all children. She believes in creating a student-centred learning environment in which children can direct their own learning. She ensures children have access to hands-on activities where they have the opportunity to make choices and encourages curiosity.

Lina believes in the importance of creating a stimulating educational environment where children can blossom on every level. An aesthetically pleasing and calm environment ensures children feel comfortable to share their ideas and take risks in their learning.
