Where do I start, Rocket Readers is definitely a great description to this program. My daughter has progressed on so many levels in reading, writing and spelling. My daughter was having difficulties on so many levels academically before I enrolled her with Sarah at Rocket Readers. Not only is she taught to read but also to understand phonics. It is heartwarming to see her confidence when reading. The best decision I made for my daughter was to enrol her in the Rocket Readers 1:1 tutoring program and the fact that she does the set tasks on her own with a smile on her face each week and can’t wait to go to her tutoring session is just a bonus. I want to share how amazing Rocket Readers are! We have enrolled both our daughters at Rocket Readers. Ms.Fatema is working with my primary aged daughter and has dramatically improved her Literacy skills. Ms. Sarah is working with my kinder aged daughter. She is enjoying getting prepared to start primary school in such a positive and welcoming environment. My daughters both count down the days until the next session which is exciting to see. Firstly I will love to thank Fatima for being amazing at her job! My daughter used to hate learning and was never interested in doing anything that involved writing or reading. She was way below her reading level at school. Once she started attending Rocket Readers she would always ask me when her next session was and if she had any homework to complete. After attending RR for a whole term her reading level went from level 1 to level 11!!! We started Rocket Readers 1:1 tutoring because my son doesn’t like learning with me and I was getting really frustrated. He loves going to Rocket Readers and learning with Miss Sarah! I’ve seen a huge improvement in his phonological awareness, decoding, reading fluency and spelling in only 1.5 terms. Even his school teacher noticed a significant improvement. If you’re thinking of enrolling your child with Rocket Readers then don’t hesitate. This was the best decision I made for my daughter, the progress she’s made during her 1:1 tutoring sessions with Ms. Mona is incredible. She’s now confidently sounding out words and writing full sentences which was very stressful and difficult for her prior to Rocket Readers. All the staff are warm and welcoming and my daughter looks forward to her sessions each week. I cannot recommend them enough.

My son (grade 3) has been doing 1:1 tutoring classes with Ms Sarah at Rocket Readers for the past 2 terms. The improvement I have seen in his spelling and sounding out words is astounding. Since starting our homeschool journey this year, I noticed he always tried to get out of writing when doing school work. To the wonderful ladies who who have helped my daughter throughout the year. Where do I start? I was researching tutoring for my daughter due to her having been delayed due to Covid/homeschooling and nearly failing every class in prep. I found Rocket Readers online and was soo impressed that I was even willing to travel to Altona. Luckily, I religiously followed their pages and was astounded to find out they were opening locally 😊 I headed to the open day in Broadmeadows and since meeting Sarah and Fatima I haven’t looked back. My daughter is in her 3rd term of 1:1 sessions and has dramatically improved. She even looks forward every week to attending and has gained so much more confidence in the way she works.
